The McLaren 720s at Ken Gorin's THE COLLECTION

For those looking to break free from convention and speed into the unexpected, the all-new 2020 McLaren 720S Spider is the perfect car. The 2020 Spider is a thrilling, full-throttle supercar with an opening roof all packed into one beautifully polished package. The 2020 McLaren offers maximized power and increased efficiency with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine delivering 720 PS and 770 Nm of torque, but why is the 720S Spider turning so many heads?

In True McLaren Fashion

The 2020 McLaren 720S Spider has a carbon fiber structure that’s incredibly light and strong. The central philosophy behind the car was to create the maximum possible visibility so the Spider would be easy to drive, on road or on track.

Every McLaren needs its iconic dihedral doors in order to be complete. These doors make it easy for the driver and passenger to enter and exit the vehicle. New in 2020, the 720S Spider’s doors have a smaller opening footprint which allows them to be opened completely in smaller parking spaces.

To maximize efficiency and performance while minimizing drag, the 720S Spider’s design is a testament to McLaren’s dedication to aerodynamic standards. Looking as though it has been sculpted by the air itself, the Spider is the product of painstaking aerodynamic optimization fueled by McLaren engineers and designers.

Exclusive on the McLaren Velocity 720s

Power and intensity–how else could you describe the McLaren Velocity 720s? McLaren aficionados were able to behold this machine in late October of 2017. Upon entering the McLaren showroom, enthusiasts were able to view its unique paint job which totaled 300 hours to complete. The upper and front panels are a Nerello Red which fades into a Volcano Red for the sides and back of the car.

This new McLaren is equipped with metallic bronze alloy wheels and a ton of carbon fiber. From the gloss carbon fiber rear deck vent to the gloss carbon fiber service cover, carbon and luxury are all over this machine. This model has a ton of power, clocking in at 710 horsepower and a 0-60mph time of 2.7 seconds. This McLaren has a top speed of 212 mph. The minds behind this vehicle truly engineered a masterpiece.

For those who want to personalize their McLaren, that is possible too. With McLaren’s Special Operations (MSO) division, anything can be possible. Most of the time, owners need help getting their creative juices flowing so, McLaren is also offering four other default options along with Velocity: GT, Pacific, Track and Stealth. For McLaren, the business of personalization is huge, many buyers choose to send their cars to MSO for some type of modification, both big and small.
